Dr. Endress combines a passion for patient care, excellent training and clinical knowledge, and skilled surgical craftsmanship to achieve the desired results of each individual patient and their specific needs.

Training and Background

Dr. Endress completed his integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the esteemed Stanford University program after matching directly from medical school, which included six years of dedicated Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery training.  He committed time in the research laboratory studying wrist biomechanics and reconstructive techniques and is published widely in the medical literature.  

He then completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, receiving specialized experience in all aspects of hand surgery, including dedicated training in peripheral nerve and brachial plexus surgery. Dr. Endress was awarded the Alice D. Jenson Fellowship in Hand Surgery Award for his year of training, which signifies him as the outstanding hand fellow of the year.

Teaching Credits and Credentials

Following his training, Dr. Endress was on faculty at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, training residents and fellows in the practice of Plastic and Hand Surgery. He was the Associate Program Director for the academic training program and a member of the Marketing Advisory Committee. 

Dr. Endress maintains his activities at the national level, continuing to serve on the ER hand care and residency education committees for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also the founder of #HandClub, which is an international hand society for upper extremity surgeons across the globe.

Giving Back to the Community

Dr. Endress has a passion for international mission work, with visits to Mexico for cleft and craniofacial work, Cambodia for pediatric and adult hand surgery, and Nepal for microsurgical reconstruction.

On a Personal Note

The essential part of life for Dr. Endress is his family. He and his wife Nancy, who is a practicing cosmetic dentist, have two small children (5 and 3 years old). They love sharing all aspects of the outdoors together in Colorado! Mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and golf are some of the activities they most enjoy.
