What is Breast Augmentation?

There are many factors that may cause a woman’s breasts to deflate, including pregnancy, nursing, the aging process, and weight fluctuations. Additionally, some women are just born with smaller breasts that are not proportionate to their bodies.

Breast augmentation is a surgical body sculpting procedure performed to restore volume in the chest and create a stunning, naturally beautiful silhouette. It is most commonly performed using implants (saline, silicone, or Gummy Bear) but can also be achieved through the use of autologous fat grafting. Our team will determine your individual aesthetic goals during your private consultation and help craft a treatment plan that will accomplish the improvements you seek.

What is a Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation?

We offer autologous fat grafting for natural breast augmentation that allows for rapid recovery and avoidance of foreign materials in the body.  Our results are authentic-looking yet enhanced, with an emphasis on functionality. Fat transfer breast augmentation can typically increase the bust by one cup size.

Women seeking modest breast enhancement may find fat grafting to be an ideal option, as there are no complications to worry about, no MRIs required to detect rupture, and no risk of BII (Breast Implant Illness) or capsular contracture. You can discuss whether a fat transfer breast augmentation will achieve your goals with our caring team during your private consultation.

Your In-Depth Breast Augmentation Consultation

The goal of the consultation process is for both the patient and surgeon to understand mutual expectations for results and delineate the treatment process from pre-op to complete recovery. We will answer your questions and concerns, conduct a thorough review of your medical history, and perform the necessary laboratory testing to ensure that the procedure will be safe and effective for you.

Breast Implant Types

We will guide you through the implant selection process, taking careful note of your preferences, anatomy, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. You will be able to “try on” different implants under your blouse to get a better sense of how your final outcome will appear. During this time, you are welcome to elicit feedback from friends and loved ones. Our team understands that each choice is personal and should reflect the individual.

Saline

Saline implants are typically inserted unfilled, providing the patient with the advantage of minimized scarring. Once they are in place, they are then inflated using sterilized saltwater.

Silicone

Silicone implants are considered to have a highly authentic look and feel. They come in many different shapes, sizes, and textures for the ultimate customization process.

Gummy Bear

Gummy Bear implants are made with a form-stable gel that provides a realistic, natural look and flawless functionality. They are shaped like teardrops, which help to reinforce the body’s organic contours.

Dr. Daniali is an outstanding medical professional. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire procedure as well as pre/post op. She is very down-to-Earth, easy to talk to, and exceptionally intelligent. I highly recommend her & would go back to her in a heartbeat if I needed.

Incision Techniques

The choice of incision placement will depend on a variety of factors, including the implant size and type, your concerns regarding scarring, whether you plan to breastfeed in the future, and others. Your incision placement will be discussed in depth during your private consultation so that you fully understand the pros and cons of each option and can make the most informed, empowered decision.

Periareolar

Here, the incision encircles the outer edge of the areola with scarring concealed within the naturally darker pigmentation of the area. This approach is often chosen for patients pursuing breast augmentation in combination with mastopexy.

Inframammary

With this approach, the incision is created horizontally along the inframammary fold. This technique affords the surgeon a great deal of flexibility and precision when placing the implants. Scarring is typically well-hidden by the bra line.

Transaxillary

A transaxillary incision is made within the folds of the armpits where scarring will be inconspicuous. This approach is least disruptive for patients concerned about breastfeeding in the future.

Who is a good candidate for breast augmentation in Denver, CO?

Breast augmentation is a personal choice and should be performed for yourself and not to please others. When the procedure is genuinely desired by the patient, it can lead to stunning results with a high degree of aesthetic and emotional satisfaction.

The best way to know for sure if you qualify for our breast augmentation in Denver is to attend a private consultation with our caring and knowledgeable team.

You may be an excellent candidate if:

  • You are in good mental and physical health
  • You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Your breasts are fully developed
  • You are unhappy with your breast shape and size
  • You have lost breast volume after aging, pregnancy, or massive weight loss
  • You are struggling with breast asymmetry
  • You have realistic expectations
  • You are willing to follow your surgeon’s instructions

Breast Implant Placement

Implant placement will be determined based on your lifestyle and activity level, your body type, overall health, implant size, and implant type (silicone, saline, or Gummy Bear.) Our experienced practitioners can help you make the best choice for a sustainable, successful breast augmentation outcome.

Subglandular

Here, the implant is placed over the pec muscle, positioned between the muscle and the breast tissue. Implants are placed beneath the breast glands, however, ensuring that the patient will be able to breastfeed in the future. Implant movement is minimized, and post-operative discomfort is lessened with this approach.

Submuscular

With this approach, implants are placed beneath the pec muscles. This placement tends to result in a more natural chest appearance and leads to enhanced clarity during mammograms. Complications such as capsular contracture also tend to be reduced. The tradeoff is that recovery may take slightly longer.

What Will My Recovery Entail?

After your breast augmentation in Denver, you will go home on the same day. Your surgeon will call you to discuss the post-operative course and provide instructions for wound care, bathing, sleeping, resuming physical activity, and returning to work. You will receive prescriptions for pain management as well as a compression garment to help reduce swelling.

Patients are seen one week after surgery and at two weeks thereafter. Typically patients are then seen at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Initially after breast augmentation, the breasts sit higher and feel firmer than the final result. Rest assured that we strive to achieve the most natural-looking outcome, and we will work with you throughout your recovery process to make the experience seamless and stress-free.

What is the price range for breast augmentation?

Costs for breast augmentation in Denver will depend on factors such as the anesthesia fees, facility fees, testing fees, post-operative garment fees, and surgeon’s fees. Pricing typically ranges from $5,500 - $7,500, depending on implant selection.

Is breast augmentation safe?

We contract with only board-certified anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and avoid complications related to anesthesia. Patients understand that if an adverse cosmetic outcome occurs, our surgeons will ensure that each problem is addressed to the client’s satisfaction.

Which procedures can be performed to complement breast augmentation?

Patients sometimes elect to undergo fat grafting, mastopexy (breast lift), abdominoplasty, liposuction of chest wall and abdomen, and facial rejuvenation in tandem with their breast augmentation. Many clients opt for the full-body mommy makeover to revitalize their appearances from head to toe.
